My Story
As a kindergartener, I had no idea that two painful bee stings endured within one week of each other would eventually drive me to build a national lemonade company, invest in powerhouse brands, or even save the bees for that matter. But, as life handed me lemons I found a way to make lemonade (8.5 million bottles of it and conting!).
The bee stings prompted me to learn that bees are both critical to our food supply and dying at alarming rates. I was determined to contribute to the cause by selling honey-sweetened lemonade inspired by my great-granny Helen's recipe, and donating a portion of the profits to bee conservacy organizations.
Little did I know, I had become a social entrepreneur. Realizing that selling more lemonade meant saving more bees, I bottled my product and enlisted the help of my family, friends, and greater Austin community.
Over the years, my company garnered interest Nationwide. In 2015, I served my lemonade at the White House and introduced former President Obama. In 2016, I successfully pitched my product on Shark Tank. In 2017, I launched my non-profit the Healthy Hive Foundation. And, in 2018 we secured investment from 10 NFL players (All while being a student!).
I saw many of my peers didn't know where to start when it came to starting a business, managing their money, or exacting change. So, I wrote Bee Fearless: Dream Like a Kid my sophomore year of High School, and published by Penguin Random House.

Now, I’m a rising Junior studying economics and quantitative sciences at Emory University on a merit scholarship. I’m writing about topics from the economics of social enterprise, to the widening racial wealth gap. And I speak about my experience at corporations and organizations around the globe.
